Install FaithCode on the web

Pick one path below. Each guide is written only for that environment — so cPanel steps stay out of Localhost, and Localhost steps stay out of cPanel.

Live hosting

cPanel / shared hosting

Upload the zip on your hosting account, extract with File Manager, set permissions, point the domain at public, then finish the Setup Wizard on your real domain.

  • File Manager upload & extract (with screenshots)
  • Document root + writable storage
  • APP_URL + MySQL explained simply
  • HTTPS domain → Setup Wizard → cron
Open cPanel guide →
Your computer

Local / localhost

Run FaithCode on Windows/Mac with XAMPP, Laragon, or php artisan serve. Create a local MySQL database, install Composer packages, then open the Setup Wizard in your browser.

  • XAMPP / Laragon
  • Empty MySQL database, then /setup
  • APP_URL + MySQL explained simply
  • Local URL → Setup Wizard → optional phone Wi‑Fi
Open Local guide →

Which one should I choose?

If you want…Use this guide
A live shop on a domain (customers visit online) cPanel / shared hosting
Test or develop on your own PC first Local / localhost
Add Super Admin or Mobile API later Add-ons guide (same steps on local or cPanel)
Connect the mobile app later Finish web install + Mobile add-on if needed, then open Mobile app
Default demo email / password after Setup Demo accounts (below)
Optional · after base

Add-ons (Local + cPanel)

Install Super Admin or Flutter Mobile through /addons after the base website works — on your PC or on live hosting.

  • Same page for localhost and cPanel
  • Zip + that product’s product key
Open add-ons guide →
Required for every buyer: after you extract the zip, open /setup. On verifier.faithcode.tech, turn the base FaithCode purchase code into a product key, paste that key on the License step, then finish Server, App, Database, and Finish. Each of those pages is pictured in the cPanel guide and the localhost guide. On a live domain, enter that domain on the license desk. On your PC, enter localhost. Finish creates the tables, demo logins, and API keys. Do not run migrate yourself. This is the same page for the base without add-ons and the base with add-ons. Separate add-on zips are installed later from System Settings → Add-ons Import Zip, and each one needs its own product key.

Default demo accounts (after Setup)

When the Setup Wizard finishes, FaithCode runs migrations and loads default seed data. You can try the app with these ready-made logins. Sign in with the email and password (username is shown for reference). Change these passwords before a real shop goes live.

Business portal — open /login

Demo store: FaithCode Demo Store (slug faithcode-demo). Same accounts work in the mobile app after you set API Configuration.
